Arnis

On July 27th, 2009, Arnis was named the national sport of the Philippines. Isagani Palacpac, a member of FASA, became interested in this bamboo-stick fighting sport and started taking lessons. He then decided to bring the art to Storrs and started a group within FASA to learn about arnis.
